Books
Books, editions and handmade manuscripts
Gino creates books which are artworks either single copy or short edition he sees them as another branch of his creative process he refers to them as exhibitions rather than books because they are the culmination of language. Generally the expectation is that drawing, painting, sculpture, sound, digital and the other mediums he works with would be seen as one thing or another. However Gino feels that the human condition and the human experience we make are deeply framed by all our senses enabling a multidimensional rather than singular understanding of the world around us.
With the growing reliance on technology to undertake many of the tasks humans have previously done he feels that human consciousness may be slipping back to a state of primordial being, where technology will be used to form a totalitarian future consciousness rather than allowing for growth in human consciousness, guided by human intelligence.
